My Final Project

Over the past weeks, I have tried a lot of software, created videos and much more and at last decided to create an Apple Textbook using iBooks Author.
Apple released textbooks to its new iBook store in January 2012 and it has had its ups and downs, but personally I believe that this idea is great.
I created an iBook about Space, so I could you use 3D objects, beautiful picture galleries and different fun quizes.
I created the book with little chapters on Space, satellites, The Moon, Venus and Saturn so far. I also decided to create a small video to show the making of the book, so I filmed my screen using ScreenFlow and QuickTime Player, sped the whole video up to x20 and create a 4 minute video with music, which shows the making of a couple of the chapters.
The information I used was from Wikipedia and other sources.

Overall the book took me about 3 weeks to create. I did not encounter many problems during the course of creating this book except when I tried publishing it on week 2, but Apple asked me to make the book longer before it would be published, so I doubled the amount of pages and hopefully it will be accepted and published soon!

The book is soon to be published and released on the Apple iBook store and I shall put a link up soon for you to download it and see for yourself.

Steve Jobs Dies

Steve Jobs, the Apple founder and former CEO, has died at the age of 56 after a long battle with cancer. "The world has lost a visionary."

"Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple."

Sadly, Steve Jobs passed away on Wednesday 5th October 2011.

We shall remember him forever.

09:22 It may have sold out before it even went on sale, but Barack Obama managed to get his hands on Apple's tablet device before it hit the shops - after being given one personally by Steve Jobs.
It is no secret that the President is an avowed Blackberry user, but he could be tempted by an early look at Apple's latest handset, which has voice control and a faster chip.
