Sadly 2011 was not only a year full of happiness. 2011 saw many deaths of famous and liked people such as Steve Jobs, who sadly passed away on 5th October 2011. The next weeks were spent in commemoration of Steve Jobs. If you look at the older posts you will find information about him and information about how people mourned over his death.
Also,  2011 saw the death of Muammar Gaddafi on 20th October, a very unpopular Libyan tyrant. After his death most people rejoiced, especially Libyan citizens.
Not only was Colonel Gaddafi killed, but also the very dangerous Osama bin Laden, the leader of Al-Qaeda.
President Obama had the privilege to announce that on 2 May 2011.

2011 was a tough year for many due to the financial crisis, illnesses and many other reasons, but we managed to survive and came out with out heads held high. We are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel and we must keep going. As we progress, the financial crisis is starting to fade and problems to solve, letting us have a pleasant year ahead.
For me 2011 was a happy and great year and I hope it was the same for you.

I wish you all the best in 2012. Let the year of the Dragon be a good year for you, your family and friends.

Happy New Year,

Best,

DB
